Fund drive! Help us help you have fun :D

Hey everybody, it's about that time again. We're running a bit low on funds lately, so we're calling out to our members and players alike as we do occasionally to drive up our funds a bit. If you can, please come to the website/forums and donate a little bit. Any amount (even a few dollars!) really does help and is greatly appreciated.

In May, the tech/payment guy at our game-server hosting company had a family crisis and didn't get around to billing us until June, so we had a double payment then, and June is also the month when we make our yearly payment to the webhosting company as well. So we got hit a little harder than usual and we're down a bit from our usual comfort level.

Long story short, right now we're good for the next payment (for August), but after that we're pretty much out of funds. So this is where we turn to you, our beloved community members, and remind you that YOU are the reason we yet exist. We, like your local public radio station, survive solely on donations from the players. So please, if you can help at all, go to the homepage and click on the big blue "Donate" button on the top left-hand side, or go to http://www.goochassassins.org/donate. You'll see a "Paypal Donate" button in the right side of the donation page which will take you to paypal.com where you can donate directly to oniiel@yahoo.ca, which is Beefy's paypal account.

Also, if you can't or don't wish to donate online through Paypal, please PM Roachy of Beefy for postal mail instructions on how to get a check or other form of donation to us. We'll work with anyone individually to get it figured out ;]

P.S. The forum's donation recognition plugin is a little quirky. All donations have always made it through to us historically, but sometimes they don't show up in the "Last Donors" list. The best thing you can do is make absolutely sure you have cookies enabled, and are signed into the forums when you do donate. Again, we've never had a problem with donations not making it through to us, but if you have concerns about your name not making it on the "Last Donors" list (I can add it manually if it doesn't work correctly) or about whether your donation did make it through, don't hesitate to PM Roachy of Beefy and ask. Beefy tries to personally PM or email everyone who donates and thank them though, so hopefully one way or another you'll get confirmation. Thanks!
